Mr. Bird directs the agency ‘s regulatory and non-regulatory responsibilities for Natural Resource Protection, Pollution Control and Prevention, Hazardous Wastes Collection, and Conservation Land Stewardship programs. Brian Boerner is the Director of the Environmental Management Department in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Boerner is responsible for the department’s planning, directing, managing and oversight, including stormwater permitting, air quality control, hazardous waste management, brownfields redevelopment, and public outreach. He has served on the NALGEP Board of Directors since 2001 and currently holds the position of Co-Chair. Andrew Bracker, Brownfields Coordinator, Department of Planning and Development, Kansas City, Missouri
Andrew Bracker is the Brownfields Coordinator for the cities of Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. He administers a bi-state EPA Brownfields Pilot and Showcase Community program, and, as an employee of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, manages the Brownfields Office in the Department of City Planning and Development. He also performs the duties of executive director for the Kansas City Brownfields Commission. Mr. Bracker joined the NALGEP Board of Directors in 2005. Jim Caldwell recently retired from over 25 years of service with Montgomery County, Maryland. Mr. Caldwell most recently servied as the Director of Environmental Protection where he was responsible for policy development, program implementation and enforcement in the areas of air quality, water quality, water and wastewater management, hazardous materials management, stormwater facility maintenance, noise control, energy conservation and forest preservation. Mr. Caldwell has served on the NALGEP Board of Directors since 2002. Jeryl Covington, Director, Department of Environmental Services, Greensboro, North Carolina
Jeryl Covington serves as the Director of the Environmental Services Department for the City of Greensboro, North Carolina. Ms. Covington provides guidance to the City in the areas of environmental and regulatory compliance and waste management. She has served on the NALGEP Board of Directors since 2000 and is currently serving as Board Co-Chair. John Hills, Director of Water Quality, Irvine Ranch Water District, Irvine, California
John Hills is the Director of Water Quality for the Irvine Ranch Water District. He is responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and statutes affecting the water quality and environmental regulations of the District. Mr. Hills maintains contact with various governmental and regulatory agencies, industry related agencies and represents IRWD at public and professional organizations, as well as on Committees/Workgroups of local water agencies. He has served as a founding member of the NALGEP Board of Directors since its inception in 1993. 
Lorrie Louder, Director of Industrial Development, Saint Paul Port Authority, St. Paul, Minnesota Lorrie Louder is the Director of Industrial Development for the Saint Paul Port Authority in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Louder is responsible for the Port Authority's lines of business which include Brownfields Redevelopment, Fixed Asset and Working Capital Financing, Harbor Management and Commercial Navigation on the Mississippi River, and Employer Solutions for workforce needs. Ms. Louder joined the NALGEP Board of Directors in 2005. Douglas MacCourt, Environmental & Land Use Attorney, Ater Wynne LLP, Portland, Oregon Douglas MacCourt is an environmental and land use attorney with the Portland, Oregon office of Ater Wynne LLP, where he advises the City of Portland and other local governments and private sector clients on regulatory compliance and funding strategies for natural resources, environmental and development issues. Mr. MacCourt developed Portland's brownfield redevelopment programs as Environmental Manager with the City of Portland's Office of Transportation. He has served on the NALGEP Board of Directors since 1997. John Stufflebean, Director, Environmental Services Department, San Jose, California John Stufflebean is the Director of the Environmental Services Department in San Jose, California. Issues currently facing San Jose's Environmental Services Department include wastewater management, a water utility and reclaimed water system, storm water and watershed management. Other responsibilities include integrated waste management, energy conservation, green buildings, and general environmental policy for the City. He has served on the NALGEP Board of Directors since 2002.
Steven Venezia, Deputy General Counsel, Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources, Boston, Massachusetts Steven Venezia is the Deputy General Counsel for the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources. Mr. Venezia is engaged in efforts to deregulate the energy industry in Massachusetts and works to enhance his organization’s ability to promote energy efficiency and to monitor the energy market for consumers in the aftermath of energy restructuring. He has served as a founding member of the NALGEP Board of Directors since its inception in 1993.
