Call for Nominations for the Secretary’s National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council

The US Forest Service is accepting nominations to the Secretary of Agriculture's National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Council. Nomination forms may be downloaded from http://www.fs.fed.us/ucf website.
This year completed signed applications will be accepted via email and sent to a secured email address:
nucfac_ucf_proposals@fs.fed.us
As a National Federal Advisory Council, the membership must be balanced geographically and demographically across the country. Those geographical areas that are needed to meet this requirement are the western and southern parts of the country. For those interested, please review the position criteria to see if you are eligible. Applicants may nominate themselves. Please note that the due date has been extended to January 29, 2010.
