Working Together for Equitable Development: Voices and Lessons from Environmental Justice and Smart Growth

Explore the connections between smart growth, environmental justice, and equitable development. Learn how to overcome barriers to integrating complementary efforts. Meet with national experts, community leaders, advocates and government officials to discuss:
-Federal, state, local, and tribal tools and programs that support equitable development.
-Opportunities for greater collaboration between smart growth, equitable development and environmental justice.
-Why integrating smart growth, equitable development, and environmental justice efforts can revitalize disadvantaged communities; grow the economy; and create healthy and sustainable, urban, suburban, rural and tribal communities.
