On Thursday, March 29, 2007 NALGEP and the Town of Framingham presented the Massachusetts Brownfields Workshop: Brownfields in the Suburban Context at the Memorial Building in Framingham, MA.

This workshop helped local governments, consultants, lawyers, state, and federal officials:

  • start brownfield's projects in specific areas;
  • identify the necessary steps in cleanup and reuse projects;
  • highlight successful community brownfields projects and programs;
  • identify state and federal brownfield resources and funding;
  • introduce key partners in redevelopment;
  • Highlight strategies to overcome brownfields barriers;
