Description:
EPA Listening Session on All Appropriate Inquiries Rule session is for EPA to listen to the views of stakeholders and the general public on the current standards and practices for all appropriate inquiries. EPA wants to provide stakeholders and the general public an opportunity to comment on the current implementation of the standards. The Agency is interested in hearing if stakeholders and the general public are encountering issues with regard to the implementation of the required standards and practices. The Agency also is interested in hearing from stakeholders who are satisfied with the current regulation and its implementation.
The listening session is open to the general public. Interested parties and the general public are invited to participate. Parties wishing to provide their views to EPA on the rule, or to listen to the views of other parties, are invited to attend the listening session. Any person may speak at the listening session; however, we encourage those planning to make oral comments to pre-register with EPA. Those planning to speak at the listening session should notify Patricia Overmeyer, of EPA's Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization at Overmeyer.patricia@epa.gov. Parties who do not pre-register may sign up at the door beginning at 8:30 a.m. on March 17. Parties who cannot attend the listening session, or any party who prefers, may submit written comments to EPA by directing their comments to Patricia Overmeyer, either at the email address above or by mailing your comments to Patricia Overmeyer, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, MS 5105T, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington D.C. 20460.
