NALGEP members have a direct line to environmental leaders and innovators in the federal government and across the country. As a member, you will receive our biweekly News Flash, including breaking news regarding new federal policies, resources, and opportunities impacting local governments. Additionally, NALGEP coordinates regional meetings and work groups to tackle some of the more challenging issues facing local environmental leaders, including special projects in brownfields, smart growth, clean water, air quality, and stormwater management. "NALGEP allows local government environmental professionals to keep in touch and discuss complex issues and lessons learned from one another. This is particularly helpful for cities that are in the midst of redeveloping contaminated and abandoned sites." --Dr. Vincent Nathan, City of Detroit, MI "NALGEP keeps me informed on developments in Washington, DC, and I am constantly leraning from the challenges and successes of other members." --Lucy Auster, Seattle/King County, WA To learn about the many benefits offered to NALGEP members, view the membership fee structure, or request more information, follow the links below.
